NogginLabs Wins Three AXIEM Awards
16 July 2004
NogginLabs, Inc., a full-service custom e-learning software development firm, announced today that three of their e-learning courses have received awards in the 2004 AXIEM awards competition.
The AXIEM Awards is an International competition that recognizes excellence in Electronic Media. The AXIEM Awards were created to honor those who produce the very best in all forms of electronic media. This is the only award representing the entire electronic media industry. Over 1,100 entries were received for the 2004 competition. The top honor, the COPPER AXIEM, was given to 15% of this year’s entrants. NogginLabs was awarded two copper awards and one silver award.
One of the Copper Awards was for the custom-made, performance based e-learning courses and website that were designed for Dale Carnegie/Performance Potential Inc. These courses help learners understand the best practices for salespeople as outlined by the Dale Carnegie process (you may have heard of the book by their founder, How to Win Friends and Influence People) and streamlined by efficiency experts, Performance Potential, Inc. Through fully animated, audio conversations and detailed feedback on all correct, incorrect, and semi-correct paths that the learner chooses, this highly successful course has helped to increase the effectiveness of Dale Carnegie’s salespeople. Since the first four courses were so successful, we’re happy to announce that two more courses for Dale Carnegie/Performance Potential are nearing completion.
The other Copper AXIEM was awarded for our work with long time clients Hibernia National Bank. This particular course (part of a growing number of products we’ve developed for them, including dozens of hours of e-learning) covers all areas of their banking culture and products. This course also utilizes a great deal of Flash animation, hundreds of audio clips, a fully animated narrator, and characters for the user to interact with. The courses, which have been integrated into a central portal, simulate the learner’s environment and are indexed with experts at the point of need. As with Dale Carnegie/Performance Potential, Inc., we’re about to release another suite of e-learning courses for Hibernia.
Finally, NogginLabs received a silver award for their performance-based, pro-bono course, which helps users to understand how to work through the diagnostic process for endometriosis. The course, which is taken by over 100,000 users a year, empowers its users to navigate the diagnostic process by helping and preparing them to speak with doctors. We’re heartened by the positive response that we continue to get through kind emails.
