24 September 2007
Chicago, IL – September 2007 – NogginLabs, Inc., an award-winning global custom eLearning developer, was recently recognized by Inc.com as one of the nation’s top 5,000 fastest-growing privately-owned companies in the county. The Inc. 5,000 list is an extension of Inc. magazine’s annual Inc. 500 list. It provides recognition to corporations achieving success beyond the limit of the Inc. 500 list.
Despite record-breaking growth, NogginLabs, a woman-owned business, continues to perform at the highest level, creating innovative eLearning courses and earning national recognition. Each year since 2003, NogginLabs has won the coveted Brandon Hall Excellence in eLearning award, the “Academy Award” of the eLearning industry.
Currently with 35 employees, NogginLabs has grown close to 200 percent each year since 2000, mostly due to the project needs of powerhouse clients such as McDonald’s, Dell, Capital One, ABN AMRO and JetBlue. While their client base continues to grow with Fortune 500 companies, NogginLabs’ business model remains efficient – quality performance-based learning at a reasonable price, delivered by leaders in the eLearning industry.
Chicago-based NogginLabs ranked 2,067 out of 5,000 companies nationwide and they are 63rd on the Inc. 5,000 Companies in the Midwest. The Midwest leads the nation in the number of companies making the list with 1,046.
According to Inc., the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. produced $194 billion revenue in 2006, approximately 1.5 percent of the national gross domestic product. The 2007 Inc. 5000 list measures revenue growth from 2003 through 2006. To qualify, companies are required to be U.S.-based and privately held, independent – not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies – as of December 31, 2006, and have at least $200,000 in revenue in 2003 and $2 million in 2006. NogginLabs’ revenue in 2006 surpassed $2.8 million.
As NogginLabs continues to grow, quality remains the focus. A lean efficient company founded in 1997, NogginLabs expects to sustain steady growth while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction. “Our vision has always been delivering the best product while maintaining the highest level of customer service,” says owner and CEO Brian Knudson.
The Inc. 5,000 list enables small, growing companies to receive the recognition they deserve. Companies within the list of 5000 represent some of the most stable and successful companies in the U.S. economy.
