NogginLabs, Inc. CEO Brian Knudson Named Finalist for ITA CityLIGHTS Award
11 March 2008
The Illinois Technology Association (ITA) today announced that Brian Knudson, CEO of NogginLabs, is one of the five finalists for the 2008 CityLIGHTS Award. This award recognizes a business, education, media, or government leader who has relentlessly promoted the growth and stature of the Illinois information technology industry. ITA will present the awards to the winners at the ninth annual CityLIGHTS Awards Gala on April 3 at Union Station, which is the largest gathering of technology executives in Illinois.
“I am absolutely honored to be a finalist for this award,” Mr. Knudson said. “We have long felt as a company that there are multiple ways to raise the stature of the Illinois IT industry, and not all of them grab the headlines. Through this nomination, ITA is showing that growing a successful business that recruits and trains young Chicago IT workers and contributes its services to charities can raise the profile of the Illinois technology community.”
CityLIGHTS is Illinois’ annual celebration of vitality and innovation in the technology community. Celebrating its ninth year, CityLIGHTS recognizes some of the leading technology companies and individuals in our community whose innovation and success are driving change in Illinois. The Awards Gala is also an opportunity for those in the industry to connect with other technology executives, entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and investors in the region for an evening of dining, socializing, and celebration.
